Reporting to the Latam Sr Tax Manager (Regional Group Tax), this role is a strategic position with the purpose to deliver corporate tax services of excellence and most business oriented, on a timely manner and in a proactive way. As part of the Group Tax team, this role will work closely with Regional Manager in all corporate tax matters, including planning, reporting, advisory and tax compliance (including transfer pricing), among other activities. Responsibilities ● Ensure corporate tax returns and related returns are filed on timely basis; ● Ensure all transfer pricing reports and local file documentation are prepared and field on terms and timely basis; ● Provide timely tax reporting submissions (annual & half year); ● Forecast ETR and tax cash for the region; ● Assist / monitor corporate tax audits; ● Provide tax provision; ● Advisory on corporate tax matters (including PIS/Cofins for Brasil and other similar taxes in other Latam countries); ● Corporate tax planning (including cross border); ● Assist Regional Manager on tax optimization; ● Manager Corporate Tax related projects; ● Interact with business stakeholders on corporate tax matters; ● Ensure appropriate tax control framework is in place in accordance with Group’s policy and strategy; ● Ensure group tax policies (specially transfer pricing) are applied consistently across LATAM; ● Manage corporate tax risks; ● Monitor Legislation on income tax related matters of the Region (Brazil, Chile and Ecuador). Qualifications ● Bachelor in Law; ● Solid experience in multinational and/or big 4; ● Strong income tax knowledge; ● Legal / Accounting background; ● Fluent English / Spanish desirable; ● Strong experience in advisory, planning, reporting, forecasting income taxes; ● Strong corporate tax knowledge (including income tax, PIS/Cofins); ● Strong Tax planning and advisory experience (compliance experience is desirable); ● Strong demonstrated experience in calculating, forecasting and reporting income taxes, PIS/Cofins and related taxes; ● Strong excel abilities.
