About the role The General Manager of Sales is a key new position within our team. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will lead and develop the national sales team and champion exceptional account management and client experience across New Zealand. You’ll oversee the sales, brand and marketing strategies, with a view to drive revenue growth, and meet our strategic goals. Day to day, this role will:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team
- Deliver and influence the sales, marketing and brand strategies
- Innovate, lead and develop the Waterford Security offering
- Streamline our sales processes, looking for efficiencies and setting best practice
- Set annual revenue targets and provide reporting and advice to the Managing Director on sales activities and progress
- Collaborate with the General Manager Operations to ensure a smooth transition between the two areas
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management experience
- Experience in a similar, strategic level role, with a national focus
- An ability to look for efficiencies and manage change
- A collaborative, outcome focused approach
- A high level of confidentiality and ability to build trust
