Programs and coordinates on a daily and around the clock, drilling rig requirements for drilling and completion equipment, tools and services as required by the approved Drilling Programs and in liaison with the Operations Engineer, Drilling Supervisor and Assistant Manager Drilling Operations Offshore. Prepares Call off Orders, Purchase requisitions. Work on drilling equipment specifications and upgrading through tenders and proposed new technology and methods in order to assist and improve operations. Education:
Minimum HND, preferably Petroleum Engineering or related disciplines, plus industry courses in drilling equipment and applications. Experience & Skills:
Minimum 8 years of Drilling Engineering/ Operations experience with hands on experience in equipment maintenance and repairs. The job holder should either be an Ex-Drilling Supervisor or Drilling Engineer. The ability to anticipate, plan and action day to day rig and well program requirements.
