Primary Purpose of the Job:
Participates and assists all Environmental activities including budget, personnel, supplies equipment in the Refinery that consists of 27 process units, 90 product storage tanks, 8 supports utilities units. Assists in monitoring activities for the companies within the Refinery area, Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) (AL-SEEF) Company which consists of 7 Process Units and 13 Product Tanks for Environment equipment issues. Operates and maintains and repairs the mobile Ambient Air Quality continuous Monitoring Station in all electronic analyzers and knowledge with most of Environmental equipment such as (PH meter, noise meter, Gas emissions leak detector etc.) operates and maintains all environmental equipments. Carry-out the environmental equipment check-list of all activities in the Refinery Process units, support units and areas on weekly basis and reports to the Sr. Environment Specialist. Compliances with the State's Environmental Laws & Regulations for Refinery. Meets the requirements as stipulated in the "Consent to Operate" conditions as well as in other permits pertinent to Supreme Council For The Environment and Natural Reserves (SCENR). Compliances to QP approved Environmental Policy. Education:
Higher Secondary School Certificate followed by 2 years formal training in an Instrumentation or equivalent. Diploma in instrumentation or electronic. English Level-5 or Equivalent. Courses in Environment and Maintenance. Experience & Skills:
Minimum 2 years experience in instrumentation (Environment Technician - Maintenance) in the Refinery/Petrochemical, Oil and Gas Industry. Self motivated, able to work independently. Good written and spoken English. Able to participate in areas of training, technical writing and regulatory compliance in industry. Working knowledge of internationally accepted environment standard and instrument requirements. Knowledge of a wide variety and environment surveillance tools and sampling technologies/equipments.
