Contracts Administrator Post-Contract / Contract Administration
Local Hire Position
LOCATION Doha, Qatar
THE ROLE Reporting to the Senior Contracts Administrator (Post-Contracts) and performing tasks relating to all aspects of the Post-Contract and Contract Administration of a number of Consultancy and Construction Contracts to a major infrastructure development programme.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Assists with the performance of the contracts administration aspects of a set of projects as part of the programme management consultant's role on a major programme of infrastructure development works.
Supports the process of drafting and finalising of pre-qualification, tender and contract documentation for consultant agreements and contractor contracts along with the administration during the procurement process Supports the process of evaluating tender submissions and preparing award recommendation reports Assists with procurement delivery tracking Assists with co-ordinating and interfaces with all stakeholders, internally and externally to meet overall procurement program deliverables EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Sound knowledge of the contract administration aspects of major civil & infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities with experience in procurement and contract administration
5 years post graduate experience
Undergraduate degree or membership of a relevant recognised International Professional Body e.g. MRICS
Experienced user of MS Office and project management software
Experience in international contracting mechanisms e.g. FIDIC
Excellent English-language written and oral communication skills
