Langford Park Nursing Home is looking to recruit experienced Care Assistants to join.
The Nursing Home is set in beautiful countryside on the Northern outskirts of Exeter.
We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional level of person centered care to all of our residents and work hard to make our home a wonderful place to live and work. We aim to maintain the highest standards of care by hiring and supporting talented, passionate employees that share our commitment to excellence.
Day to day, you will be assisting residents with their needs, such as supporting them at mealtimes, with personal care, emotional support, or simply by providing them with companionship. You will be following care plans, interacting with family members and taking direction from your Team Leader to ensure professional and clinical standards are upheld at all times and that the level of care given is second to none.
We are looking for:
- A reliable, compassionate, personable individual with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- You will have a NVQ2 in Health and Social Care and previous experience of the care sector (Desirable)
- An active team player but also able to work on own initiative
- Availability to cover a 24/7 Rota & a flexible approach to work.
- The ability to treat people with dignity and compassion & to respect them as an individual.
- Someone who is looking to progress within their role with additional training, support & development.
