Qualification:

- Bachelors / Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology. Holds valid licensure in country of origin and licensed to practice in Kuwait.

- Minimum of two to five years experience in Diagnostic Imaging with basic knowledge and experience in Medical Imaging Modalities like: MRI, CT Scan, Special Procedures and Mammography

- Ability to exercise sound judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy in assigned work

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills

- Demonstrated commitment to further education and professional development

- Demonstrated ability to work in multi disciplinary team(s)

- Computer literate

Duties & responsibilities:

- Performs all requested general and specialized examinations in accordance with the departmental guidelines or Radiologist instructions.

- Performs all imaging procedures in mammography, CT and fluoroscopy.

- Performs various general imaging exams on all patient types.

- Assists in the diagnostic radiographic procedures when required.

- Ensures images are of diagnostic quality and have technical quality.

- Accurately processes patient information.

- Maintains radiologic services in accordance with standards established by head of medical imaging department.

- Ensures that the welfare, privacy and security of the patient during examination is maintained.

- Ensures the accurate identification of films.

- Performs film processing.

- Accurately records all significant information in relation to the examination.

- Ensures that adequate supplies of radiographic and related material are kept in stock and at the screening units at all times.

- Ensures to report the emergency repair of all radiographic and processing equipment.

- Observes radiation safety measures / protocols at all times . Checking whether the essential criteria for a medical imaging request is ;
