Qualification:

- Bachelors / Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. Holds valid licensure to practice in Kuwait

- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in the speciality. Experience in any accredited/certified healthcare facility will be an added advantage

- Ability to exercise sound judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy in assigned work

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills  

- Demonstrated ability to work in multi disciplinary team(s) 

- Communication skills in Arabic

Duties & responsibilities:

- Performs venipuncture and skin puncture to obtain blood sample for testing.

- Labels the specimen collection tubes with patient's name and DOB, time of collection and collection source.

- Preserves and refrigerates specimens when instructed.

- Distributes specimens to correct racks or location.

- Properly disposes of contaminated sharps.

- Ensures all necessary records are legible, accurate and complete
