The graphic designer will work on a variety of products, including websites, platforms, product packaging, Social Media posts, exhibitions, corporate identity etc.

Responsibilities

•    Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts.

•    Design and production of marketing projects assigned from start to finish including, but not limited to: Online media (email ads, banner ads, blog images and layouts, e-packets, etc.) and traditional media (program slicks, brochures, flyers, display ads, post cards, reports, etc.)

•    Maintain knowledge of cinema trends and technology related to materials created, web advertising, and emerging platforms.

•    Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.

•    Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.

•    Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.

•    Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas for digital or print publication.

•    Determining strategies to deliver a clear message to a particular target audience.

•    Organizing the production of proofs and liaising with suppliers.

•    Coordinates all administrative aspects of production, including preparing final designs for presentation, checking and approving color, copy, text format separations, and scaling images for print production. Ensures that all parties are informed of and meet deadlines.

•    Design and produce mostly digital related designs such as front end web design, display ads to run on various advertising display networks, and additional designs used for social media and occasionally print.

•    Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.

•    Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites using a wide range of media and graphic design software such as Photoshop.

•    Schedule project implementation and define budget constraints

•    Work as part of a team with the Marketing department in the production of sales and marketing materials, promotional items, presentations and other supporting documents.

•    Flexibility with timelines in a fast-paced office with frequently changing priorities.

•    Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.

•    Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment.

•    Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.

•    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

-     Bachelor's Degree in Advertising Design, Graphic Design or Communication Design or related field or equivalent work experience

-    Proven graphic designing and relevant direct experience in Advertising, Marketing or Ad Agency related positions.

-    Fluent in English and Arabic, French is a plus
