Duties:

    Contribution to acute day-time cardiology at site base, on rotation with the existing cardiologists and associate specialist, covering the coronary care unit, and cardiology referrals from AMU and other wards/departments.

    Management of cardiology inpatients.

    Provision of outpatient clinics.

    Expansion of the cardiac CT, CMR and DSE services.

    Teaching, supervision and development of Junior medical and non-medical staff

    Contribute to audits and ongoing research activity

Person Specification:

    MBBS or equivalent

    MD / DNB in Cardiology

    MRCP / FRCP or equivalent

    Minimum 7 years full time post graduate experience

    Minimum of 2 years continuous Cardiology experience

    Consultant level experience

    GMC registration (or eligible to secure GMC registration)

    Efficiency in Teamwork and superior communication skills

    Leadership and Management skills
