Core / Primary Duties

• Inspect all the incoming raw material, packing cartons, tapes etc. and record the observation.

• Check the products on line for its quality with standards as per the QC schedule

• Report the deviations to the concerned for correction and document the observations instantly

• Maintain good liaison with the operator, foreman and supervisor.

• Maintain and update records of standards, sampling trials, comparative analysis, new products etc.

• Report the major deviations to the QC Supervisor and QC Manager to make necessary action.

• Put non-conforming products on Hold for further decisive action properly.

• Attend the products on line checking to the maximum turn possible to maintain better quality standards.

• Ensure the product standards with close lab analysis.

• Collect production samples from machines to retain for future verification in case of non-conformance.

• Use data sheets and specification as reference while checking the products for its standards.

• Ensure that the inspections are carried out precisely to maintain quality standards.

• Understand about the products and its applications thoroughly for effective quality check.

• Organize records & reports for easy accessibility.

Authorized to : Stop the product line in case of major discrepancies till the proper corrective action is taken.

Criteria / Requirement: -

Educational Qualification

Education : Degree or Diploma in a Engineering / Technical Field

Professional Experience : 3 to 5 years' experience in QA/QC role in a plastic processing or any manufacturing environment.

Performance Criteria : Good decision making ability, Knowledge in Plastic technology and Quality management system.

Language : English - read, write and speak

Age : 25 to 35

Gender : Male
