Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers and communicate with them with a view to determine their orders
2. Take customers' orders and punch them into the restaurant order database
3. Ensure that correct order has been punched in
4. Handle cash transaction
5. Issue receipts, refund, and change
6. Inform customers of their bill and ask if they will pay in cash or through credit card
7. Take payments and tender change
8. Make sales referral, cross sell products and introduce new ones
9. Provide customers with information on daily specials and discount deals
10. Service customers' requests and complaints and make sure that any serious complaint is brought
to the notice of the restaurant manager
11. Assist counter staff in packing ready orders and handing them to customers
12. Ensure that the counter area is kept clean and organized at all times
cash at the end of each shift and handle discrepancies according to company policies
14. Maintaining good looking with company uniform and tidy looking.
