• Ongoing assistance with menu planning and maintaining a high level of quality and profitability in all food & beverage offering
• Recommend and implement preparation to reduce costs of goods sold (COGS) and supervise all employees to insure correct methodologies are followed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area adhering to food safety and health standards.
• Setup proper production line for all items
• Maintain par-stocks of food product for all menu items
• Requisition through the Manager all the products required in a timely manner for prompt delivery to kitchens and clientele
• Ensure food ingredients are stored in their designated area and rotated in the proper manner and clean at all times and to properly utilize the shop equipment
• Handle kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage to the equipment or injury to employees
• Work efficiently and effectively to gather, wash, cut, season and store quality ingredients
• Monitor menu item volumes and sales mix with the Manager to ensure par-stocks are maintained
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager
• Create check lists and ensure they are followed
• Ensure cleanliness in the shop by following brand opening and closing checklists
• Show flexibility and equal treatment to all staff members
• Be available as a second in charge whether on weekends or weekdays and liable to the role
