UI/UX FRONT END ENGINEER
10/ 11/ 2016 / KARACHI, PAKISTAN / START DATE: ASAP
KEZA is looking for a UI/UX Front End Engineer to lead the UI/UX and front-end engineering from design to implementation. The developer will be involved in the entire application lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support. In addition to delivering the product, a successful candidate will be involved in working closely with the mobile app engineers, system architect and the product owner and a growing team. It is a 6 months internship which will be converted to a full-time based on how a candidate performs.
Responsibilities
- Plan and wireframe a great web/mobile user experience.
- Ensure technical ;
- Implementation of the UI/UX using HTML/CSS/JS.
- Design, implement, and test clear, elegant code
- Work on static implementation alongside a backend engineer to complete the entire ;
- Build efficient and reusable front-end UX
- Proactively drive constant improvement to UI/UX
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Identify and communicate best practices for front-end engineering
- The role demands a high amount of effort and working and coordinating with team members in different ;
- Responsible for several projects within same organization and team
- Deliver across the entire app life cycle - concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to public and support
- Work directly with creatives, developers, and producers to conceptualize, build test and release products
- Gather & understand requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
- Build prototypes, optimize ;
- Uphold the quality of the software, the code, and the ;
- Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in backend ;
- Release early (sometimes daily!) to learn from real users and react quickly
- Experience with HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, DOM scripting, jQuery and Git in a B2B or B2C web production environment
- Familiarity with ReactJS or AngularJS frontend ;
- Full and complete understanding of AJAX, APIs, and related authentication ;
- Expert knowledge of compatibility and cross-browser, cross-platform and cross-device issues
- Excellent HTML/CSS skills to implement ;
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors / SASS + Bootstrap
- Knowledge of frontend build systems such as Grunt and ;
- The ability to design the UI and implement the UI in code using web ;
- Expert knowledge of turning wireframes and mockups into HTML / CSS with a working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Be up to speed with tools such as Git, Invision
- Is a fast learner and is up to date with the latest trends and tools in the ;
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
- Knows the value of writing clean, elegant and well-documented code
- Expert knowledge of turning wireframes and mockups into HTML / CSS with a working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience creating and working with implementing highly interactive, graphical designs
- A passion for design, user experience, marketing, and information architecture
- Performance optimization knowledge. Understanding how to fine tune a website and measure the impact on behavior
- You understand how the mobile experience differs from the experience on a desktop, and how to embrace mobile device constraints and develop responsive experiences
- Experience with A/B testing to optimize prototypes and analyze whether they can be more formally incorporated into our core platform
- Self-driven, detail oriented, can prioritize and multi-task because we have a lot of cool stuff for you to work on
- Experience working in an Agile team
- UI/UX Experience building complex interfaces and solving related ;
- Fluent with Photoshop / Illustrator / Balsamiq or similar programs for UI and wireframing
- Familiarity with common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook etc)
- Should be passionate about software and code quality and be aware of automated testing practices and methods
- Knows the value of writing clean, elegant and well-documented code
- Fast learner of new and emerging technologies and workflows

- Have a responsible personal workflow and the ability to work with a remote team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-effort, dynamic startup work environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to drive features to delivery and takes deadlines seriously
