For our Event management company, SDImktg Doha, we are now looking to add another talented Account ;
As Account Manager you are responsible for your assigned events, from projected estimates to post-event reports. You will be developing and maintaining excellent business relations with new and existing clients, provide ideas and strategic insights into client pitches. You will network, develop yourself and your team, and collaborate closely with our Creative Studio in addition to the clients -all to produce the most spectacular events, surpassing the client's expectations every time - while ensuring our company can sustain itself and grow healthily towards the future.
We think that to handle this role well, you should have a post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably with focus in event management, business, and/or marketing. You already have 3-5 years' experience as an Account Manager or equivalent, and at least 5-7 years' of experience in the industry.
Desired skills
You need to be analytically minded, with the ability to work with numbers and data to determine the best solutions, calculate budgets, and manage critical paths. You will have a team to manage, so it's essential that you have strong leadership skills, such as motivating, encouraging and developing your account team. You need to be a strategic thinker, able to lead in creative efforts, and possess the "out of the box" thinking to deliver the most spectacular solutions to our ;
Of course you have proficient verbal and written communication skills, you're detail-oriented, and can work both individually and within a team. Our positive work environment and family feeling is something we all strongly value, and it's essential you contribute to a healthy, inclusive workplace ;
Last but not least, we'd prefer it if you're bilingual - Arabic/English - and you need to be able to keep a flexible work schedule as events often take place during evenings and weekends, plus you may need to travel so a passport is of course necessary. A driving license sure do help.
