We are searching for a Fab Lab Expert to work in a contemporary project in Irbid Governorate Funded by the European Union for 6 months to carry out Fab Lab setup, Supervision on equipment installation and commissioning, Fab Lab management and knowledge transfer.

During the setup you assist on installation and academy training. After setup we need your help to make the Fab Lab fully operational.

You have experience as a Fab Lab Manager or Supervisor and you are willing to transfer your experience, knowledge to train staff and the future Fab Lab Manager.

Naturally you have worked with Fab Lab users and know how to teach and help the lab's users and students with the software, machines and safety rules, helping them to design and build their projects.

We also expect you to coordinate the maintenance of the machines an insure that inventory of parts and materials is up to date and available.

Ideally you have a background in mechanical engineering or design or maybe even architecture, with some experience on electronics and computer programming.
