1. SCOPE OF THE ROLE The position of graphic designer will be responsible for the design and development of materials to support business development, with emphasis on client and market share maps, presentation graphics, and print and digital collateral required for proposals and presentations. Produce design that brings out the clients messages with high visual impact
2. JOB PROFILE RESPONSIBILITIES Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts. Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos. Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed. Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients or supervisors and making necessary changes. Use computer software to generate new images Key information into computer equipment to create layouts Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products. Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer. Prepare notes and instructions for workers who assemble and prepare final layouts for printing. Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer. Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services. Research new software or design concepts. Photograph layouts, jewelry, using camera, to make layout prints and create design database
3. KEY DELIVERABLES Proactive in presenting or 'pitching' their ideas and designs to the agency director and/or prospective clients. Delivering excellent design that adheres to the Fish tree's guidelines of a high quality and aspirational brand Use of Graphic design skills with a demonstrable creative flair keeping in mind the clients requirements Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval Amending designs according to the clients' final comments
Ensure the work undergoes necessary proofreading and prepare designs to be sent for print on time
4. THE RIGHT PERSON A relevant qualification, with additional certifications in graphic software and tools such as adobe, flash, coral draw, movie maker 3d Max, 4D cinemas, DHTMC, InDesign etc. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in web and digital Good communication skills Good interpersonal skills Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software Exceptional creativity and innovation Excellent time management and organizational skills Accuracy and attention to detail An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines Alignment to the requirement Updated and use of relevant market knowledge Developing Objectives and Strategies Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
Advertising Agency Experience is a Must
Graphic Designing Digital experience is a Must.
