Business Development & Accounts Management
Builds rapport and trust with customers by being informed about customer's business and the market and support customer retention through collaboration with all sales channels;
Generate sales leads using company provided resources as well as from your own development.
Upsell additional services to the existing client base to increase volume and sales revenue;
Maximize sales growth from existing customers through the development of new sales, product marketing, and customer support strategies; and achieving specific volume growth targets in the assigned area(s) of the business;
Use networks within various Sales channels of Yatfai Integrated Logistics to collaborate on customers, marketing strategies and offer full supply chain solutions;
Collaborate with manager to ensure alignment with branch strategies in forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development;
Develop new business opportunities and generate profitable turnover not limited to Asian/Hong Kong/China markets in order to meet and exceed business revenue goals;
Work closely with internal customers and manage capacity and equipment arrangement for customers.
Customer Services and Retention
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing deals;
Creating detailed proposal documents, which including checking costs, bids, rates & operational flows;
Collect relevant customer information for the RFI/RFP/RFQ and prepare documents for customer implementation in order to ensure proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer expectations;
Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Shipping/Logistics Management, Marketing or equivalent disciplines;
At least 5 years working experience in logistics industry, preferably in logistics and/or transportation projects in Asia;
Proficient PC skills (MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint);
Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong initiative in proposing solutions;
Good command of spoken and written English. Putonghua is an advantage.
Applicant with more qualification and experience may be considered as Senior Business Development role.
