One Animation is seeking a self-motivated Junior Technical Director to join our award winning studio to help problem solve and quality control our various projects as they travel through the pipeline.

As part of the One Animation Shot Finaling Department, the candidate will work closely with the CG Supervisor, Lighters, Animators, and Modelers in order to problem solve shots and ensure that our productions run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

To review sequences, highlight problems and then implement the various solutions.

To highlight patterns and recommend Pipeline upgrades in order to eliminate the problem permanently.

To communicate clearly with each department and coordinate the implementation of each solution.

Due to the complicated nature of CG TV shows, basic animation and rigging skills will be necessary.

Qualifications:

A strong CG portfolio.

1 to 2 years of Industry Experience.

An interest in animation and rigging.

Demonstrate traditional art skills and creativity.

Strong communication skills with emphasis on collaboration.

Self-motivated and mature attitude with strong discipline and work ethic.

Experience with Python a plus.

Knowledge of C++ a plus.

Experience with Autodesk Softimage a plus.

Experience with Autodesk Maya a plus.
