We're seeking for a Content Writer to join our team and play an integral role in community creation, social communications, and enrich our websites and social media platforms with new blog posts, articles, brochures, guides, and marketing copy. You're well versed in best practices and industry trends, enjoy being creative, are naturally engaging and can tell a story. You will also handle the ideation and creation of compelling content including website copy, white papers, blog posts, social media content, and product/service descriptions.
Ultimately, you'll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.
Responsibilities:
Build and manage the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and all other company social media channels
Plan content and write copy for social media, the web and other marketing collaterals
Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence
Track, measure and analyse all initiatives to report on social media ROI
Proofread and edit all written content before being published and ensure the right spelling, grammar, vocabulary and interpretation is been used.
Create engaging, informative and motivating content focused towards the target audience.
Develop, write and deliver persuasive copy for the website, social media, email marketing campaigns, sales collateral, videos, articles and blogs etc.
Publish articles to relevant online platforms blogs, PR sites etc.
Monitoring all customer website testimonials to ensure they are in line with company standards. Once confirmed, to be published on the relevant website
Supporting the social media and customer service teams for professional responses to customer feedback, messages, comments etc.
Build and manage an annual editorial calendar.
Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone).
Update website content as needed.
Contributing to long-form content projects presentations, internal documents
Ensuring confidentiality for all information shared to produce content for various purposes
Correct usage of all content ensuring in line with company standards.
To complete daily and weekly tasks assigned by the reporting personnel in a timely manner to obtain sufficient results
Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data. Reporting useful findings to the reporting personnel.
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices.
Brainstorm new, creative and innovative growth strategies with reporting personnel.
Job Requirements
BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
Past experience producing content for websites, social media, scripts, advertising campaigns, utilizing keywords etc.
Excellent writing and editing skills in English
Ability to meet deadlines
Previous experience building audiences both online and offline
Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition when creating content to the targeted audience
2-4 years of experience as a content writer or similar role
Understanding of SEO
FEMALE candidate only
Understanding of online article submission
Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
Excellent multitasking skills
Team player
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences that engage, inform and motivate
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
