Senior Data Architect Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop new data products and integrations, and maintain the overall data roadmap.
2. Coordinate and collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to define and prioritise data and analytics use cases.
3. Formulate and communicate the vision, strategies and roadmap for building strategic and business critical data and analytics capabilities.
4. Align the data and analytics portfolio to strategic priorities, business dependencies, and operational needs.
5. Initiate and lead discovery work for any new data intelligence product, and prototype and validate a minimum viable product (MVP) with technical teams.
6. Manage and balance the trade-offs among conflicting business priorities for data.
7. Keep abreast of the latest energy industry trends and incorporate them into the data and analytics products.
8. Drive sustainable improvements through leading data management and analytics technology and process optimisation practices.
9. Empower teams across the business to use BI environment to get the most of performance reviews and business insights.

1. Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Engineering or related field.
2. 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, working with data and analytics and/or other business intelligence products.
3. Supervisory and leadership experience.
4. Experience in IT Project / Program Management, IT Service Management, Agile Delivery Methods.
5. Experience in big data / AI / data science is preferable.
6. Experience in the energy sector or other asset-intensive industries is desirable.
7. Knowledge and work experience with MS SQL and cloud technology platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and AWS.
8. Technical competence to understand and influence the data solution context, approach and lifecycle.
9. Ability to conceptualise and articulate complex technical ideas in business context.
10. Ability to handle multiple complex assignments and meet tight deadlines.
11. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, verbal and written.

1. A recognized university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
2. At least 4-6 years in similar role.
3. Analytics skills in data mining, analyzing, evaluation.
4. Technical requirement writing experience in data and/or relevant areas.
5. Prior experience in master data management, data warehousing or data modelling preferred.
6. Experience in ERP / Azure cloud platforms and technology.
7. Experience in the energy sector or other asset-intensive industries' standard data models (e.g., IEC CIM) an advantage.
8. Good knowledge of the business processes and rules.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, intelligent, proactive, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
10. Good interpersonal and communication skills (detail oriented).
11. Able to adapt and work with colleagues from different functions with different business needs.
