We are currently seeking a Field Account Manager for our Lab Products & Services (x|f|m) division home based the Netherlands (Sartorius Netherlands B.V.). In this position, you will be responsible for a selected number of key account customers within the Life Science market in Pharmaceutical - and Biotech industry as well as big Research & Development institutes and laboratories in the Netherlands. Your goal will be to proactively increase our Sales and support of customers especially for our Lab Products portfolio including lab filtration, microbiology, liquid handling, balances and water purification systems. The team consists of seven professionals, and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available for either part-time or full-time. It is a remote role requiring travelling to our customers and working remotely.Grow with us - Your Responsibilities Promote and sell the organization's products and services portfolio to pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries on selected accounts to achieve sales and revenue target We are open to experienced (Key-) Account Managers working in Inhouse positions and willing to move to a field-based role with more direct customer contact Understand the customer´s strategy and needs to respond to customer enquiries, set up strategic plans to provide solutions and suggest products and services as appropriate Work closely with cross functional teams to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an account Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory Frequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it into business Manage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnership What will convince us University degree (HBO or University) in life sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or similar education First Sales experience in a B2B environment Teamwork skills, strong business acumen as well as the ability to think and act in a customer-focused way Excellent communication, negotiation skills and business acumen Very good oral and written communication skills in English; good command of Dutch is an advantage Willingness to travel frequently within the Netherlands, (approx. 60%) Identification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, Enjoyment What we offer As a growing global life science company, stock listed on the DAX and TecDAX, Sartorius offers a wide range of Benefits: Personal and Professional Development: Mentoring, leadership programs, Talent Talks, internal seminar offerings, coaching for managers Attractive conditions: Competitive remuneration, Company car including private use, home office contract and full flexibility about own schedule Making an impact right from the start: Comprehensive onboarding, including a virtual online platform even before joining, "buddy" as point of contact Welcoming Culture: Mutual support, teamspirit and international collaboration; communities on numeroustopics, such as coaching, agile working and business women network Sales
