But we also appreciate the opportunity to work remotely can energize you too, so we do offer flexible arrangements!What You'll Do:The Procurement Manager- Direct is responsible for developing category strategies, executing competitive sourcing, managing supplier contracts, and overseeing supplier performance for Direct categories, particularly co-manufacturing and packaging for beverages. In this role, you will drive the procurement of our Non-Alcoholic business (and other direct areas as needed) by focusing on cost savings, cost avoidance, strategic planning, and supplier management to ensure global success for Mark Anthony Brands.Develop category strategy and execute sourcing activities across co-manufacturing and packaging across our international businessLead sourcing execution for global Direct categoriesProactively identify and evaluate risks and opportunities for MA categories and implement key changes for continuous improvementDeep understanding of cost model methodology and value chain analysis.Category Strategy DevelopmentLead category strategy and sourcing process development to maximize investment value in direct categories (e.g., Co manufacturing, PET, Sleeves, Closures) for international regions as well as global categoriesLiaise with MA Indirects Global Procurement team on global contracts to ensure optimization of cost and service across MA entitiesLeverage industry trends, macroeconomics, and data-driven insights to continuously refresh and evolve category strategy to maintain competitive edgeDefine supplier performance metrics by category and conduct annual review to ensure suppliers are performing at expected quality and service standardsProactively manage vendor contract life cycle to prepare for contract renegotiations, extensions, or renewalsEngage with cross-function stakeholders to identify and develop strategic partnership relationships with key vendors and unlock cost and service improvement opportunitiesBuild Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) for key suppliers and support on escalating issues as neededSourcing ExecutionLead the implementation of sourcing plans and strategies across direct categoriesTender co-manufacturing and packaging, assuring best-in-class strategic sourcing and selecting suppliers that provide solutions fit for needs.Drive negotiations of contracts to meet business objectives and budget adherenceCollaborate with Finance and Legal teams to ensure contract compliance with all internal guidelines and requirements and external regulationsUtilize internal and external resources to identify broad and diverse set of suppliers for each RFP bid to ensure competitiveness while meeting organizational needsSupport Procurement Improvement initiatives to further structure the area's processes and toolsIdentify potential procurement tools and technology to enhance internal capabilities and conduct cost / benefit analysisProvide inputs to monthly and annual spend outlook by category and provide consultation and support to stakeholders as necessaryWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's Degree, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing or related fields preferred5+ years' experience in procurement, marketing or related areasExperience in the beverage industry and / or CPG companies preferredRelevant business experience with a proven track record of increasing responsibility in procurement for direct categoriesKnowledge of sourcing process for direct spend categories, including supplier management best practices and competitive bidding (e.g., RFI, RFP, RFQ) processes as well as supply market dynamicsExperience with eSourcing tools (e.g., Coupa, Jaggaer) and high proficiency in MS OfficeDemonstrated track record of collaborating cross-functionally in a Procurement contextExcels in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture and can deal with ambiguityWe are growing a lasting legacy in the beverage alcohol industry, with people first.
