Position: Logistics Administrator
Location: Dubai
Nationality: Open for all nationalities
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating the transportation of drilling equipment, materials, and supplies to offshore platforms, ensuring that everything needed for operations is available on time.
Maintaining accurate records of supplies and materials, ensuring stock levels are sufficient to meet operational needs without overstocking.
Handling customs clearance for equipment or supplies being shipped to or from the offshore location.
Acting as the point of contact between the offshore drilling crew, onshore operations, and other departments to ensure seamless communication.
Working with logistics providers, shipping companies, and contractors to arrange for the timely delivery of materials, tools, and services.
Addressing any logistical issues, delays, or disruptions to ensure operations remain unaffected.
Preparing reports on logistics operations, personnel movements, and inventory levels to senior management.
Ensuring all logistics-related paperwork, such as shipping manifests, crew lists, and customs documents, are organized and readily accessible for audits and compliance checks.
Reviewing and processing invoices related to logistics services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contracts.
Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related role within the oil and gas industry.
Strong understanding of offshore operations, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with various teams and external vendors.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Proficient in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Knowledge of international shipping, customs procedures, and visa requirements (a plus).
Bachelors Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management Preferred.
Candidates in Dubai, UAE on Husband’s/ Father’s Sponsorship Preferred.
