Client Description Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for all aspects of assigned technical projects.
  2. The implementation of new or upgraded products and services.
  3. Plans and coordinates all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery.
  4. Manages project initiation activities that include identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts, and access to existing information as needed.
  5. Develops, defines and executes project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
  6. Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles.
  7. Coordinates activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and vendor organizations as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule, within budget constraints, and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope.
  8. Assigns and monitors work of project team, providing technical and analytical support and direction. Interfaces with external clients or field-based employees on technical matters as needed.
  9. Manages project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure project goals (e.g., deadline, scope and quality) are achieved. Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.
  10. Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, in internal organizations as well as vendor organizations, to ensure all project targets and requirements are met.
  11. Delivers informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups.
  12. Conducts project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance, handover documentation and ongoing activities to accountable teams and complete a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement.
  13. Identifies project management coordination process gaps or areas for improvement, recommends and implements solutions.
  14. Some travel may be required.
  15. Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or other related discipline.
  2. 5-8 years of hands-on infrastructure project management experience.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure and extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  4. Must be in active pursuit of Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or have the equivalent level of education and experience for the job level.
  5. Solid experience in managing project budgets and timelines.
  6. Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills (e.g. experience liaising with C-levels).
  8. Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
