Security Engineer

*****Minimum Experience**:- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Technology or related field.- Minimum of seven (6+) years of progressively responsible security, systems and networking experience in a large scale environment.**Preferred Experience**:- Sold knowledge and experience in one or more of the following security technologies: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, Proxy, Endpoint and SIEM.- Experience implementing and managing Data Loss Prevention products.- Experience implementing vulnerability scanning solutions.- Experience implementing and managing Symantec ProxySG, SSLVA solutions.- Experience implementing and managing Messaging GW solutions..- Experience in complex infrastructures and organizations.- Working knowledge of security technologies such as IPS, Firewalls, AV, MFA, and encryption.- Experience leading technical projects.- Experience with Proxies, Malware Analysis, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, wan optimization.- Strong knowledge of Windows environments.- Strong knowledge of networking.- Familiarity with Symantec security products including Endpoint Protection and Encryption.Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.**Roles and Responsibilities**:- Design, implementation, and support security solutions based on the project scope.- Analyzes security products to identify solutions that meet organization requirements and reduce security risk.- Provides technical expertise to the rest of the Security team.- Assists in the creation of security related policies, standards and procedures.**Professional skills necessary for this role include the following**:- Self-motivation, focus and a strong work ethic are a must!!- Willingness to collaborate and work with a variety of technical teams and professionals.- Comfortable working independently when necessary.- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage projects- Good written and oral communication skills; good interpersonal skillsSubmit your ResumeWe are always interested to meet potential team members to join our fast-growing, dynamic team of professionals in order to continue providing a Personalised, Efficient, Professional & Confidential service to our increasing portfolio of clients.
