**Key Responsibilities**:The responsibilities for this position are broken down as follows:Local (applicable to the MEO only), Regional (applicable to GMIO) and Global (applicable across GM-defined regions)**1 **People Management 20%**Local**: Hiring, stuffing, coaching and review job performance**2 **ME Operations (SPQRCE) 40%**Local**: Manage and monitor ME team performance through daily and monthly scorecard and meetings to assure achieving all targets in the related business categories SPQRCE. Shop floor walks and attend daily operations forumsRegional (percentage of allocated time)**1 **New projects portfolio/ non-portfolio 30%Local/RegionalReview and approve the new projects studies and plans. Periodically review the performance of new projects execution and support the team to resolve all road blocks.**2**Strategic Planning10%Local/RegionalCreate future long term and short-term strategies that support lean design, plant capability and risk reduction for all aspects of SPQRCE.**Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competencies**Knowledge and Experience:- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar industry.**Education**:B.Sc. in Engineering, preferably in Production, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.MBA or Master of Engineering will be preferred**Skills**:Excellent English and Arabic, both spoken and written, Excellent command of computer skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Excellent ability in problem solving techniques.
