Day to day responsibilities include implementation and maintenance of computer network systems in a company. The VOIP engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting networks, handling equipment inventory, and preparing documentation.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement the physical design and architecture of computer networks.Deploy, troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize IP telephony, voice, video, and mobility solutions.Assist and lead the design and implementation of Cisco Unified Communication products.Provide technical assistance to Network Analysts & Network Professionals.Identify and resolve issues relating to Cisco software, Cisco IP phones, and voicemail.Coordinate with other hardware and software professionals relating to networks and telecommunications.Act as the primary point of contact for queries relating to ISP outages and other issues.Create, analyze, and troubleshoot call flows and call detail records.Own the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.Hands-on CISCO VOIP Call Manager:Perform infrastructure configuration management utilizing network monitoring tools to optimize network.DNS troubleshooting and administration.Diagnose and resolve network-related issues.Configure and maintain Cisco Wireless Access Points using Cisco Wireless Controllers.Implement, configure, and troubleshoot VPNs and Secure Remote Access related issues.Configure end-user devices such as laptops/desktops, printers, and shared office equipment on End-User office network.Evaluate, recommend, and install network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software.Create and make changes to end-user accounts.Configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade Check Point & Sonic Wall Firewall.Provide ongoing administration and support for authentication service using RSA SecurID and Cisco RADIUS servers for internet-based remote access VPN solution.Implement Zone Based Firewalling and Security Rules on Check Point Firewalls.Define, consolidate, and standardize documentation, standards, and policies related to Network & Security.Experience: +5 yearsDuration: 1 year extendableJob FeaturesJob CategoryIT Tech / Field Support
