AM/DM - SAP MM

Company: Magick Woods Exports (Pvt) Ltd Experience : 5 to 7 Yrs Location: Maraimalai Nagar (Near SRM University) Job Description: As a SAP MM consultant, you will be part of a core team of IT professionals supporting the various subsidiaries and help business stakeholders shape their strategies with technology solution implementations. You will also take an active role in shaping demand, defining product roadmaps, and strengthening the business relations team you are part of. You come with strong hands-on SAP expertise and sound business knowledge in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities: • Configure and customize SAP MM modules to meet business requirements. • Lead procurement and sourcing activities, including vendor management. • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize costs while ensuring availability. • Collaborate with other technical and functional leads, Project Managers for development and support activities. • Setting up material master data, vendor master data, purchasing groups, purchasing organizations, pricing procedures, and other relevant settings • Configure Inventory Management, Inbound, Outbound warehousing processes. • Perform system testing to ensure that the SAP MM module is working as expected. • Provide training to end users on how to use the module. • Work with other SAP consultants to ensure that the SAP MM module is integrated with other SAP modules, such as FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling)• Create documentation for the SAP MM module, including user manuals, process flows, and system configurations. • Continually review the SAP MM module and identify areas for improvement. • Work with clients to implement changes that improve their business processes. • Experience in IBP module implementations, Sales and Operations planning is an advantage. Skills: • Experience in integration points with other SAP modules like FICO, IBP, EWM, PP and PM. • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time. • Experience in the Manufacturing industry is an asset. • Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective. • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others. • Must be results oriented, and demonstrate – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness. • Must have a good understanding of business processes and practices, including procurement, inventory management, and supply chain management. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full cycle implementation as well as in support projects. Qualifications: • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or information technology, is often required. • SAP MM Certification is a must. • Ability to work independently and handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion.
