Performance Delivery Lead
Rolleston, New Zealand Reference: 6728243 About the role: As the Performance Delivery Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of major programmes and projects across the Council. You'll be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional initiatives designed to enhance our service delivery and meet the Council's strategic goals. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader with a track record in programme delivery to help shape and improve the services we provide to the community. Key Responsibilities:- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple high-profile programmes. Work with Programme and Project Managers (PMO) to ensure effective coordination and successful project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including elected members, senior management, community groups, contractors, and others.
- Guide and mentor cross-functional teams, providing support to ensure the delivery of key targets.
- Identify risks and proactively manage issues. Oversee programme finances, ensuring delivery within budget.
- Champion best practices and drive the continuous enhancement of programme management processes within the Council.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to manage relationships with senior leadership, elected members, and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risks, issues, and changes effectively in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Strategic thinker with a strong focus on results and outcomes.
