POSITION OVERVIEW The Director of Finance plays a pivotal role in shaping Avey's financial strategy and ensuring the organization's fiscal health. This individual will bring extensive expertise in valuations and capital raising, coupled with a deep understanding of financial laws and regulations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership qualities, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively. They will oversee financial planning and compliance while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support Avey's mission of global healthcare innovation. Responsibilities and Duties RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and oversee the execution of financial strategies to support Avey's long-term growth and stability.
  • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.
Valuations & Capital Raising
  • Conduct valuations for strategic initiatives and business objectives.
  • Develop and implement capital-raising strategies, leveraging experience to identify funding opportunities and negotiate favorable terms.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of financial reports and disclosures.
Operational Finance Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow management and expense control. Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies to ensure accuracy and accountability. Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
QUALIFICATION AND KEY COMPETENCIES Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial role.
  • CFA Level 3 (completed).
Key Competencies
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of financial laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Valuation Expertise: Extensive experience conducting valuations and managing capital-raising activities.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, data analysis tools, and accounting software.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor finance teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
