Greater Manchester Global (GMG) is a new overseas education and partnership consultancy, specialising in securing student admissions to top universities in the UK, with a strong focus on Greater Manchester. We provide expert guidance on university applications, visa support, scholarships, and global institutional partnerships.

  • As we continue to grow, we are looking for a professional and well-organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for students, partners, and stakeholders. A background in educational agencies or overseas education consultancy would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Front Desk & Communication Management
  • Greet students, clients, and partners in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and enquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Direct enquiries to the appropriate team members and maintain follow-ups.
2. Meeting & Calendar Coordination Schedule and manage meetings for management and staff. Maintain and update the company calendar to ensure smooth coordination. Assist in setting up virtual and in-person meetings. 3. Administrative & Email Support Handle office administration, including organising documents, filing, and maintaining records. Draft and format emails, reports, and correspondence as required. Manage office supplies and ensure a well-organised reception area. 4. Lead Management & Student Support Track incoming student enquiries and applications, ensuring accurate record-keeping. Communicate with prospective students, providing basic guidance on the admissions process. Liaise with management to ensure a smooth lead conversion process. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum completion of CBSE 12th or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is desirable. Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a student consultancy or overseas education agency would be advantageous. Clear Communication Skills and well spoken English Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scheduling tools. Professional, proactive, and customer-focused attitude. Why Join GMG?
