MECS Specialist Electrical Engineer (Process Plants)PermanentFull TimePublished: 20 hours agoNon EE/AAReference: JHB011694-LJ-1Provide high levels of troubleshooting and complex problem-solving skills to support electrical maintenance team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesB.S. Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering.At least 10 years of Operational experience of Engineering Maintenance and Planning in Petrochemical Process Industry for degree candidate.At least 15 years of Operational experience of Engineering Maintenance and Planning in Petrochemical Process Industry for Diploma candidate.Preventive maintenance of Electrical equipmentRoutine maintenance of Electrical equipmentField TestingTechnical support for complex electrical issuesMaintenance system reviewTurnaround planningTroubleshooting with electrical equipmentMaintenance DocumentationMaintenance planningCo-ordination with operations, reliability and engineeringHealth, Safety and EnvironmentResponsible care and IMRSAble to deliver training for electriciansElectrical Power Disruption system, High/Medium/Low voltage substation (transformers and switchgears), electrical protection & relay system, UPS VFD and MotorsElectrical Maintenance and Repair knowledgeReliability Engineering, Risk Management, Engineering knowledge, Analysis and Problem Solving, Electrical Troubleshooting skills, SCADAFully conversant with Electrical Engineering drawings and schematic diagramsKnowledge of SAP software module in Maintenance PlanningConversant with applicable Electrical standardsFamiliar with ISO 9002 requirementSound knowledge of international codes and standards pertaining to electrical equipmentShould be able to interpret design / as build drawingsElectrical Engineering Principles
