Sr. Ignition Developer / System Engineer (Mfg. SCADA)#Experience:5-8yrs #Location:Hyderabad/Bangalore #NP:Immediate #Mand skills: Ignition, Scada,PLC/HMI. Role Overview: ## Key Responsibilities:

• HMI/SCADA Development:
• Design and develop HMI/SCADA applications for monitoring and controlling industrial processes.
• Create intuitive graphical interfaces to display real-time data, alarms, trends, and control options.
• Program and configure SCADA systems to collect, process, and visualize data from sensors, PLCs, and other devices.
• System Integration:
• Integrate HMI/SCADA systems with various industrial equipment (PLCs, RTUs, sensors).
• Configure communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, DNP3) for seamless data flow between devices and SCADA systems.
• Implement data logging, historian, and reporting functionalities.
• Testing and Validation:
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of HMI/SCADA applications to ensure proper functionality and performance under different scenarios.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization for efficient and reliable operation.
• Security and Maintenance:
• Implement security measures to protect HMI/SCADA systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NERC CIP, IEC 62443, ISO 27001).
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, and performance monitoring.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel on system usage and maintenance.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operator teams to gather requirements and develop solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in HMI/SCADA technologies and industrial automation.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance, usability, and security.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
• Experience in developing HMI/SCADA systems using platforms like Wonderware, Rockwell Automation, Siemens WinCC, Ignition, or GE Cimplicity.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages (C#, VB.NET , Python, JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, DNP3) and networking principles.
• Experience with PLC programming and integration with SCADA systems.
