Responsibilities
- Deliver related training by teaching theory, technical principles, and practical application through classroom lectures and hands-on practical training in an Electrical Workshop Environment.
- Develop and update course materials and curriculum in conjunction with foundational and technical education faculty.
- Maintain up-to-date course outlines, objectives, assignments, and tests.
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and provide them to administration when appropriate.
- Design interactive, engaging, technology-enriched, and applications-focused student learning experiences.
- Participate fully in the academic assessment of student learning in alignment with the expectations of accreditation and governing entities.
- Supervise and monitor students' use of tools and equipment.
- Observe and evaluate students' work to determine progress, providing feedback, and making suggestions for improvement.
- Assume daily responsibility for housekeeping and maintenance of classrooms and laboratories.
- Provide tours for prospective students, parents, and other campus visitors.
- Attend and participate in special events, e.g., graduation, student extra-curricular activities, advisory committee meetings, field trips, etc.
- Participate on appropriate curriculum committees.
- Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with industry representatives and partners.
- The instructional load may consist of day or night classes or workshop training/learning.
- Work with the Maintenance and Repair Academic team to develop and improve training facilities.
- Fulfill other responsibilities to meet the needs of the organization.
- Strong in evaluating training effectiveness through assessments, feedback analysis, and data-driven insights, leading to continuous improvement of training programs and enhanced employee development.
- Experienced in conducting interactive training sessions, utilizing facilitation methods that enhance engagement and knowledge retention among participants.
- Skilled in developing effective training resources with a deep understanding of instructional design, guaranteeing successful learning experiences for varied trainees.
- Experienced in evaluating training needs through meticulous assessments, enabling the creation of customized training initiatives that address specific organizational gaps.
- Proficient in employing instructional design techniques to produce impactful training materials, catering to a wide range of learners and achieving desired learning results.
- Well-versed in the art of instructional design, capable of designing training materials that resonate with various learning preferences and lead to successful learning outcomes.
- Strong work ethic with a “Can-do/Will-do” attitude.
- Good motivational team player.
- Thrives under pressure and continuously tackles hurdles until they are overcome.
