Responsibilities

  1. Deliver related training by teaching theory, technical principles, and practical application through classroom lectures and hands-on practical training in an Electrical Workshop Environment.
  2. Develop and update course materials and curriculum in conjunction with foundational and technical education faculty.
  3. Maintain up-to-date course outlines, objectives, assignments, and tests.
  4. Maintain accurate records of students' progress and provide them to administration when appropriate.
  5. Design interactive, engaging, technology-enriched, and applications-focused student learning experiences.
  6. Participate fully in the academic assessment of student learning in alignment with the expectations of accreditation and governing entities.
  7. Supervise and monitor students' use of tools and equipment.
  8. Observe and evaluate students' work to determine progress, providing feedback, and making suggestions for improvement.
  9. Assume daily responsibility for housekeeping and maintenance of classrooms and laboratories.
  10. Provide tours for prospective students, parents, and other campus visitors.
  11. Attend and participate in special events, e.g., graduation, student extra-curricular activities, advisory committee meetings, field trips, etc.
  12. Participate on appropriate curriculum committees.
  13. Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with industry representatives and partners.
  14. The instructional load may consist of day or night classes or workshop training/learning.
  15. Work with the Maintenance and Repair Academic team to develop and improve training facilities.
  16. Fulfill other responsibilities to meet the needs of the organization.

  1. Strong in evaluating training effectiveness through assessments, feedback analysis, and data-driven insights, leading to continuous improvement of training programs and enhanced employee development.
  2. Experienced in conducting interactive training sessions, utilizing facilitation methods that enhance engagement and knowledge retention among participants.
  3. Skilled in developing effective training resources with a deep understanding of instructional design, guaranteeing successful learning experiences for varied trainees.
  4. Experienced in evaluating training needs through meticulous assessments, enabling the creation of customized training initiatives that address specific organizational gaps.
  5. Proficient in employing instructional design techniques to produce impactful training materials, catering to a wide range of learners and achieving desired learning results.
  6. Well-versed in the art of instructional design, capable of designing training materials that resonate with various learning preferences and lead to successful learning outcomes.
  7. Strong work ethic with a “Can-do/Will-do” attitude.
  8. Good motivational team player.
  9. Thrives under pressure and continuously tackles hurdles until they are overcome.
  10. Open to new ideas and feedback from team members.
  11. Strong logical and innovative problem-solving skills.
