Who you are: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the rollout within our global D365 ERP program in China. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the project according to the implementation methodology and directives, ensuring seamless day-to-day management of resources, planning, and stakeholder communication. The Project Manager will facilitate decision-making within the approved scope, track deliverables, manage risks and issues, and keep alignment with overall program. Additionally, this role involves providing regular status and progress reports, establishing and maintaining detailed project plans, collaborating with the implementation partner on resource forecasting, and ensuring the completion of project documentation. About the job:

  1. Project Leadership:
    • Drive the rollout project according to implementation methodology and ERP directives.
    • Day-to-day management of the project, including resource allocation, planning, updating logs/registers, and other classic PM tasks, in collaboration with the program manager, local PM, and the PMO representative.
    • Ensure alignment and regular status updates with the overall program.
  2. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for project members and stakeholders.
    • Communicate effectively to project members and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
    • Facilitate decisions within the approved scope or escalate options to the Steering Committee.
  3. Deliverable Tracking:
    • Track project deliverables and manage stage gates and sign-offs.
    • Monitor risks and issues, developing and implementing risk mitigation plans.
  4. Scope and Solution Management:
    • Manage the scope process and oversee mainly process changes.
    • Align with the implementation partner on resource forecasting and capacity planning.
  5. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Provide regular status and progress reports to PMO and Program manager.
    • Establish and maintain detailed project plans, work plans, and schedules.
    • Supply project documentation templates and ensure their completion and quality.
  6. Workshop and Meeting Coordination:
    • Plan and book workshops and meetings, coordinating participants to ensure maximum efficiency.
What you know:
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, guide, structure, and delegate work to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive project environment.
  • Experience in managing business transformation projects, particularly in the context of large-scale ERP implementations.
  • Familiarity with the enterprise level manufacturing companies, its processes, and IT components.
  • Proven capability to communicate effectively at all levels within a global company, routinely facilitating meetings and workshops. Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Skilled in orchestrating multiple tasks and deliverables, even under tight deadlines, ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Competence in creating compelling and clear design decision documents for management, aiding in informed decision-making processes.
  • Prior experience with ERP transformation projects, with a strong preference for those involving D365.
