Lecturer in Biochemistry

A self-motivated and proactive Lecturer in Biochemistry or a closely related area with experience in teaching practical Biochemistry courses (labs) at the higher education/university level and hands-on experience in Biochemistry and instrumentation.Responsibilities
- Teach theoretical and practical courses in the field.
- Provide academic and professional advice to students.
- Contribute to curriculum and program development.
- Contribute to the academic assessment processes.
- Contribute to community services, outreach activities, and students’ extracurricular activities.
- Coordinate laboratory activities and teaching.
- Manage and maintain instrumentation.
- Contribute to the development of instructional methodologies using IT and AI protocols.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are implemented and updated.
Required Skills
- MSc. degree in Biochemistry from a reputable/recognized academic institution.
- Fluency in the English language, both written and oral.
- At least 1 year of teaching Biochemistry experimental/practical labs at the university level.
- Proficiency in using biochemistry techniques and instruments.
- Preferred experience in Microplate readers, IR, NMR, Raman, and Circular Dichroism (CD) instruments.
- Experience in Food Chemistry and Quality Control.
- Preferred knowledge in data acquisition using LabView.
