An opportunity arises and we are looking for our Singapore plant: Purchaser Requirements: Responsible for direct and indirect materials Coordinate materials with 3rd party services Able to build effective working relationships with suppliers A good team player and negotiator with interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with all levels Possesses a good attitude, diligent, attentive to details and willingness to learn Thrive in a fast-paced environment, flexible and resourceful Maintain a professional relationship with suppliers and service providers to operate with the highest standards of integrity Proficient in MS Office Applications and ERP Software Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing direct and indirect material and 3rd party services in a manufacturing environment Possesses a minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing cum Logistics or equivalent Experience in sourcing capital equipment and machinery is an added advantage Experience in SAP Module and familiarize with the requirement of ISO Systems Responsibilities: Plan and manage Request for Quotations (RFQ) following the Purchasing procedure Ensure that the goods & services purchased are in accordance with the requests at the best TCO & contract conditions and meet cost objectives Prepare purchase orders in SAP and follow through the entire process Plan schedules and follow up on materials and services Coordinates with suppliers and service providers to internal stakeholders to meet customers’ deliveries Work closely with Logistics to optimize warehouse space Participate in all audits Meet company goals and departmental targets Responsible for filing all digital and physical records to enable quick and easy access Participate in improvement projects as a team member To follow up with other duties as required #J-18808-Ljbffr
