Lead Integration Specialist Jobs in Dubai, UAE

Job Description

Develops and maintains system integrations and components, including but not limited to, application to application integrations, services, internal and external Application Programming Interface (API), file transfer, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Structured Query Language (SQL) queries. Participates in requirements analysis and decomposition, design, development, internal testing, and the documentation of same for the application-application integrations and other integrations. Troubleshoots existing integrations and provides technical support to the application team. Works with a variety of hardware and software components to ensure that everything works together as intended. Works with the Lead Integration Architect to maintain the enterprise integration architecture document including all application-to-application, internal and external API integrations and related documentation. Contributes to the project management activities including identifying work tasks and their dependencies, estimating work effort, and contributing pertinent information as input to project evaluation and prioritization.

Responsibilities

  • Architects, designs, develops, verifies, validates, and deploys integration solutions within application-to-application interfaces, services used in application integrations, internal and external interfaces through the Application Programming Interface (API), File transfer and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) within the organization’s architectural principles, policies, and guidelines.
  • Participates in and leads, the planning of integration projects, designs integration solutions, documents the design per best practices and ensures applications are stable, scalable, and meet service level expectations.
  • Provides integration environment technical knowledge and experience during the planning, execution, and management of integrating new applications into the existing application environment.
  • Monitors existing integration points across clinical, revenue cycle and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, Identify and troubleshoot defects promptly.
  • Implements audit, logging, and monitoring solutions for integration systems.
  • Assists with problem determination and resolution efforts when operational issues with integration solutions arise.
  • Performs any additional duties like developing Structured Query Language (SQL) reports, Cerner Command Language (CCL) reports, custom applications etc to meet business needs.
  • Develops standards, processes, and documents to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.
  • Maintains the enterprise integration architecture document including all application-to-application, internal and external Application Programming Interface (API) integrations and related documentation.
  • Develops appropriate documentation and participates in Change Control processes, Incident, Request and problem management processes.
  • Demonstrates more advanced and broader technical skills, effectively supports complex and large efforts, and functions as a resource to aid others in resolving complex integration issues. The incumbent is expected to work effectively with minimal direction.
  • Researches and makes recommendations on integration products and services.
  • Provides After Hours on Call Support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or Information Systems
  • Certified Cerner Command Language (CCL) preferred
  • Certified HL7 preferred
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience in integrating Electonic Medical Records (EMR) with other 3rd party applications using vendor-preferred applications and technology.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in HL7 2.X, HL7 3.X, FHIR, File or comparable interface.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) programming, Hypertext Transfer Protocol ( Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), Restful API and Web API.
  • Knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of structured release and deployment best practices.
  • Skills in Technologies like Cerner CCL, Open Port, Open Engine, Openlink, Front Side Interface (FSI), Bed Rock, Core Code Builder, and Oracle integration cloud.
  • Skills in problem-solving and technical curiosity to understand underlying application architecture.
  • Skills in object-oriented programming preferred.
  • Skills in API protocols and schemas such as Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and Representational State Transfer (REST).
  • Skills in securing integration scenarios using appropriate authentication, authorization, non-repudiation, and data encryption methods.
  • Skills in communication and interpersonal.
  • Ability to communicate, motivate, and organize projects among a broad spectrum of personnel throughout the network, frequently under deadline pressure.
