About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Waiter/ess to join our Food and Beverage Team in Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Resort. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Assist guests by explaining menu items, including ingredients and cooking methods.
• Be aware of allergy information and inform guests as needed.
• Inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
• Check customer identification for legal age requirements.
• Offer food and wine suggestions and take orders accurately, including special requests.
• Input orders into the PO System as needed.
• Work with bartenders and kitchen staff to fulfill orders.
• Deliver and serve food at tables using established serving techniques.
• Maintain table settings and server stations.
• Prepare tables for meals, including setting up linens, silverware, and glassware.
• Ensure high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Ensure guests have an enjoyable experience by following the outlet sequence of service.
• Adhere to operating standards as per the operations manual.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
• Handle inquiries and report complaints to Team Leaders.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
• Follow Health, Safety and Environment procedures.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.

About you: The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress in a luxury hotel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity.
• Team player with attention to detail.
