2 Positions for Mechanical Engineers, Sharjah, UAE

Position 1 - Senior Mechanical Engineer (Airport Construction Supervision) We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in airport projects to join our team for the Sharjah Airport Expansion Project . This role focuses on construction supervision to ensure the successful delivery of critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, water supply & drainage system, fire alarm, firefighting system and fire protection, and fuel systems.
Lead and manage a team of engineers and inspectors, assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure high-quality performance.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, design standards, and regulatory requirements.
Review and approve contractor documentation to verify alignment with project requirements.
MEP Coordination, monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure contractor work meets quality standards and timelines.
Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
Provide technical guidance and maintain accurate project documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
15+ years of total experience, with 5+ years in construction supervision for airport projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems for airport infrastructure.
Proven experience in the installation and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Familiarity with international codes and standards for mechanical systems.
Proven leadership skills, managing engineers and inspectors.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders on-site.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications in mechanical engineering or project management.
Experience with AutoCAD Tools, Office Package and Aconex or similar project management tools.

Position 2 - Mechanical Engineer (RO Plant Specialist) We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plants to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of RO systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. Airport experience is a plus for this role. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of RO plants and associated mechanical systems.
Perform operational analysis to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for mechanical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to pumps, piping systems, and filtration components.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Conduct performance assessments and propose system improvements.
Prepare and review technical documentation such as drawings, specifications, and reports.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors for system upgrades and maintenance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on RO plant projects .
In-depth knowledge of pumps, pressure vessels, membranes, and filtration systems.
Familiarity with international codes and standards for water treatment systems.
Proven experience in troubleshooting and optimizing RO systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Airport experience is a plus, particularly in water treatment systems for airport infrastructure.
Professional certifications in water treatment technologies or mechanical engineering.
Experience with automation systems for RO plants.
