Senior Android Engineer

We're on the lookout for a superstar Senior Android Developer who excels in Kotlin and thrives in collaborative environments. In this role, you'll work across our two native Android fintech projects while collaborating with our in-house and external development teams. This position offers a clear growth path toward a lead role and the chance to make a significant impact on our mobile development future. Required Experience:

• 7+ years of Android development experience with Java/Kotlin, including demonstrated expertise in SOLID principles and Clean Architecture implementation
• Proven track record of writing testable code and maintaining high test coverage across projects
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose in professional or personal projects
• Experience mentoring developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and modern Android design patterns
• Expertise in RESTful API integration with a focus on performance optimisation and state management
• Strong knowledge of Android best practices and ability to create smooth, responsive user experiences
• Commitment to staying current with mobile development trends and emerging technologies

Nice to Have:

• Published apps on the Google Play Store
• Experience working in startup environments

Education:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

We follow the MVVM architectural pattern, implement both Compose and View-based UIs, and use Hilt for dependency injection.
