Who you are: Ensure welding processes are implemented well and continuously improve the company’s welding technical level. About the job: General:
- Review customer welding documents and prepare welding documents according to customer requirements.
- Responsible for the review and development of WPS/PQR and related process documents, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, codes (ASME-U. PV, PED, Nuclear), and customer specifications.
- Perform the responsibilities of a welding engineer as a member of the quality assurance system.
- Improve welding processes by using quality improvement tools to support capability setup and capacity increase.
- Develop fixtures to support welding work and improve productivity.
- Work with QA to analyze critical failures and provide guidance on corrective actions.
- Responsible for new product welding process introduction and new welding process development.
- Develop welding standard work processes and train welders to deliver high quality.
- Monitor and improve workshop welding quality and address welding issues.
- Attend third-party audits and ensure the welding process is acceptable.
- Keep in touch with welding engineers in the AL competence network.
- Lead and support automation welding activities as a project manager.
- Support suppliers in improving their welding quality.
- Prioritize safety in all work and ensure all activities are compliant with EHS policies.
- Take responsibility for NSA/ASME system relevant roles.
- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Welding or Mechanical.
- At least 5 years of working experience in welding.
- In-depth knowledge of welding technology and familiarity with codes including Nuclear, PV, ASME, or related standards.
- Ability to work in an international team.
- Good English speaking and writing skills.
