External Auditors - Dunedin At Audit New Zealand, we're proud to be the leading provider of audit and assurance services for public organisations on behalf of the Auditor-General. Our clients include for-profit and public benefit entities in the central government, local government, health, and tertiary education sectors. We're looking for external auditors at a range of levels to join our team in our Dunedin office, from those early in their Chartered Accountant journey to those already qualified and with more experience. Staff at all levels earn time off in lieu (TOIL) for extra hours worked and can work from home up to two days a week. As an Intermediate Auditor , you'll be on your Chartered Accountant journey and completing CA papers while also continuing to learn to audit and work in a team. The starting salary is between $62,000 and $67,000 with four weeks of annual leave. At the Auditor level , you'll likely have at least three years' financial auditing experience and be close to completing your CA ANZ (or CPA Australia) qualification. In small audits, you'll lead the audit team, while in larger audits you'll be part of the team on a variety of audits across both the for-profit and public benefit sectors. The starting salary for Auditors is between $68,000 and $80,000 with four weeks of annual leave. As a Senior Auditor , you need to have at least five years' financial auditing experience and have completed your professional qualification. You'll have the opportunity to lead audit teams or be a team member during all phases of audits for a range of organisations. The starting salary range is $85,000 to $95,000 and includes five weeks of annual leave. At all levels, you'll be working with our Audit Managers, Audit Directors, and other specialist staff, alongside well-trained colleagues with extensive experience who are passionate about making a difference, providing the highest quality audits and service to our clients to help improve trust and confidence in the public sector. The work schedule is generally Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, but we can be flexible to suit you and your family's needs.
