Follow Allergan Aesthetics on LinkedIn. Job Description Reporting to the Country Manager, AA – KSA , the role will be responsible for:
- Strategically planning, organizing, and leading the Allergan Aesthetic marketing team across KSA to meet or exceed the defined sales, profit, and market share goals and growth objectives through effective, high-quality marketing and promotional plan execution.
- Enabling the organization to make effective decisions based on insights gathered from data, market research, and market intelligence to capitalize on the most sizeable opportunities.
- Leading, managing, coaching, and developing a competent and committed Aesthetic marketing team.
- Leading the Marketing and consumer strategy across KSA including building tactics for Toxins (Botox) and direct-to-consumer initiatives not limited to social media initiatives and reach.
- Monitoring and evaluating the ROI of marketing initiatives to ensure optimal allocation of investments.
- Owning & managing the marketing team budgets and expense targets.
- As a key member of the AA KSA leadership team, playing a critical role in strategizing regarding the direction of the AA business operation, bringing innovation, engaging employees, achieving financial goals and maintaining the highest standard of compliance.
- Gather deep market, customer, consumer & competitor insights to inform strategic and tactical plan development and maintain Allergan’s leadership position.
- Drive the development of long and short-term marketing strategies and tactics to ensure that all product opportunities are optimized for the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio.
- Ensure these strategies and tactics are embodied in strategic and marketing plans as appropriate.
- Ensure the consumer strategy is included in all brands and countries where DTC is permissible as per the local regulations.
- Ensure strategies and tactics are implemented in a manner so as to maximize the return to Allergan Aesthetics and maximize market share objectives.
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders in the development, ownership, and delivery of the agreed marketing priorities.
- Support the AMI lead in the development of KOL advocacy for Allergan Aesthetics brands.
- Prepare the annual strategic plan for all the Allergan Aesthetics brands.
- Prepare and manage the annual financial budget (promo expenses) for Allergan’s Allergan Aesthetics portfolio.
- Prepare the annual marketing plan and strategy in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders such as KSA cross-functional team, Regional MEA, Area, and International team.
- Establish & embed brand performance KPIs to ensure brand performance is tracked regularly.
- Utilize data & insights to inform ongoing, high-level, decision making.
- Work on improving data and insights for market share, patient share, customer and consumer perception, and consumer insights.
- Work closely with Demand Planning for forecasting to ensure ongoing continuity of supply.
- Ensure brand budgets, forecasts, and expenses are evaluated for cost-effectiveness and results.
- Monitor and evaluate the ROI of marketing initiatives to ensure optimal allocation of investments.
- Ownership of the Marketing expense budgets including managing the teams’ expenses within the agreed budget and contribute toward the setting of future budgets.
- Provide effective leadership & direction to a team of marketers to unite, develop and motivate team members to become high-performing and help each team member realize their full potential.
- Create a positive team environment through the demonstration of strong leadership behaviors, including communicating expectations clearly, instilling an atmosphere of trust and respect, and leading by example.
- Use a mix of coaching and development tools to help each team member realize their full potential.
- Ensure all activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Identify and develop key national leaders to ensure they fully support Allergan Aesthetics products and company image.

- Bachelor’s degree in medical or pharmaceutical sciences and/or business studies.
- Postgraduate qualification in business studies would be an advantage.
- Minimum 10 - 15 years of proven experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in multinational Pharma companies, FMCG and/or Aesthetics field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing in KSA and/or Middle East countries.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing a marketing department.
- Consumer marketing experience is a plus.
- Commercial background with a successful track record of commercial roles is a must.
- Experience in people management and proven managerial skills including a proven record of talent management.
- Experience in managing budgets and sales forecasting.
- Committed, credible and enthusiastic with an action-oriented approach and sound current knowledge of the local country healthcare marketplace.
- An excellent track record with demonstrable career progression.
- Appropriate gravitas for the seniority of the role but also hands-on.
- Excellent understanding of ethical sales & marketing.
- Strategic planning and budgeting skills.
- Good financial and business acumen.
