Mid-Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Applied is seeking a full-time Mid-Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to mechanical design and engineering, including creating 3D models, conducting simulations and analysis, and reviewing and improving existing designs. Applied Robotics completes turn-key projects consisting of Special Purpose Machinery, Vision Systems, Custom End Effectors, Conveying, and Robotics that require a Mechanical Design Engineer to leverage knowledge across the full spectrum of Mechanical Automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects and contribute to the development of innovative automation solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Experience with designing and implementing automation systems
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to analyze and solve complex engineering problems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
• Experience with robotics and automation technologies is a requirement
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations including AS4024 and AS4991
