We have an opportunity available for an experienced Roading Construction Senior Project Manager to join our Green Team in Tauranga. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this is a diverse role where you will be working on multiple projects up to the value of $30m and will play an integral part in everything right from tender through to delivery. You’ll also be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the team of Graduate, Site and Project Engineers. Depending on the project, your team can range between 5-15 people. - Extensive proven experience successfully managing roading and civils projects of 10m+
- Experienced in New Zealand construction contracts such as 3910 and 3916
- Experience managing construction teams, designers and forging strong customer relationships
- Have previous experience of leading a bid team and providing detailed information to assist estimators
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and influencing skills.
- Proven understanding of project management best practice, tools, techniques, market trends and product innovation.
- Critical thinking, analysis, problem solving and effective decision-making.
