Qualcomm Middle East Information Technology Company LLC Industrial IoT and edge to Cloud AI are huge potential growth areas as we expand our portfolio of products and solutions for industry verticals, smart cities, smart homes, smart factories, and cloud, and more. We are recruiting teams in Riyadh, starting with Engineering, Business Development Sales, Program Management, and administrative positions. You will be responsible for engaging with customers, partners, and stakeholders across countries. About The Role: The Director of Engineering for Qualcomm leads the customer engineering team in deploying cutting-edge PoC, products, and solutions. This role requires managing engineering projects, coordinating with other engineering teams in the US, EU, and India, ensuring technical excellence. About You & Your Responsibilities:

Manages cross-functional teams to seek out, integrate, and interpret various complex information.
Leverages long-term collaborative relationships with critical stakeholders from other functions or geographies to achieve alignment and build consensus for multiple team, departmental, and organizational goals.
Coordinates efforts and consistently communicates strategy to stakeholders; helps others translate complex information by accounting for differences in knowledge and choosing the most appropriate medium to be easily understood.
Determines when different approaches or solutions may be needed beyond what is routine and consistently consults with and influences other project team leaders within and external to the organization to develop and encourage the use of innovative approaches to complete work and solve complex problems across the department.
Sets strategic priorities to ensure that their department and/or functional area has the resources and information needed to meet its priorities; oversees and holds others accountable for decision-making within the function.
Consistently communicates priority changes and coaches multiple teams to accurately determine which tasks are most important, avoid distractions, and adjust to shifting priorities; shifts priorities based on new information, conditions, business needs, and strategic objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
10+ years of experience in semiconductor/technology.
5+ years of experience in technical leadership.
English and Arabic languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong insight into key trends & digitalization needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Strong technology background.
Strong self-starter with the ability to build a network within the organization and manage deadlines and priorities.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
