The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for setting CRG quality standards and benchmarks, ensuring consistent product compliance with mandatory standards and legislative requirements. This role will lead the centralisation of reporting and processes, oversee the inspection of goods, and manage bulk quality returns for CRG. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Manager will support risk management through proactive reporting, intervention, and corrective action measures. It will also be responsible for auditing and surveillance of both products and processes, ensuring vendor technical compliance and quality outcomes are effectively managed. Key Accountabilities
- Define quality standards, maintain documentation, and communicate requirements across all divisions and to suppliers.
- Oversee supplier onboarding, mentor on continuous improvement, and build strong relationships to ensure quality across all divisions.
- Lead the delivery of strategic sourcing initiatives in line with project objectives and timelines by collaborating with key business subject matter experts.
- Notify stakeholders of quality issues, manage withdrawn styles, and coordinate claims for cancelled and reworks across all divisions.
- Streamline systems to save time and cost, and drive supplier improvements to enhance quality across all divisions.
- Experience working in a Quality Manager role ideally within apparel, accessories or homeware.
- Proven understanding of local and offshore manufacturing and retail.
- Experience working with offshore factories and suppliers.
- Attention to detail in both workmanship and overall quality of products.
