Head of Credit Cards

Job Summary: Experienced financial services professional with over 15 years of experience in credit card management and digital banking. Demonstrated success in creating and executing strategies to expand and manage credit card portfolios, enhanced product offerings, and ensure regulatory compliance. Exceptional leadership abilities with a strong emphasis on Islamic Banking, Innovation and Team Development. Job Role / Major Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to manage and grow the bank's credit card portfolio, aligning with Islamic digital banking goals.
2. Product Development: Lead the creation and enhancement of digital credit card products, including online application processes and digital rewards programs.
3. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for new digital credit card products.
4. Risk Management: Ensure effective risk management practices are in place to safeguard the credit card portfolio.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all digital credit card management activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
6. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance of digital credit card products and strategies.
7. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of professionals in the digital credit card department.
8. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the success of digital credit card management initiatives.

• A master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related discipline.
• CFA / CA / ACCA qualification will be preferred.

• Skills: Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to innovate. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital banking technologies, global financial markets, Islamic banking regulations, risk and compliance requirements.

• Experience: More than 15 years of extensive experience in financial services, particularly in credit card management and digital banking.
